Not just any employer

Good work happens where people can flourish. That's why we offer you a working environment like no other.

We are not perfect

But definitely more relaxed than most employers. We have less bureaucracy and more massages. Sounds good? We thought so too.
Four company events a year. At least!
Summer party, Christmas party, or Halloween bash. We celebrate whatever we can (and sometimes just for the sake of it).
In-house fitness area
Want to quickly hit the weights or the treadmill? With us, you can work out before work, after work, or even in between.
Breaks with a feel-good factor
Fancy a game of table tennis with your colleagues or a massage? Our Feelgood Manager ensures that you can take a breather in between.

This is what your working day could look like

No two days are the same for us. But here is an example.
10:30 a.m.
Arrival & Start:
You arrive at the office, grab a fresh cup of coffee, and start by checking the most important stats (function executions, error messages from last night—and, of course, messages from your coworkers).
11:00 a.m.
Short meeting:
You're chatting with a colleague about a new dashboard where internal processes are documented and analyzed. You've created an endpoint that you're sharing with your colleague so they can feed data into it.
12:00 p.m.
Focus time:
Headphones on, playlist playing. You’re currently in the process of transferring data from the WordPress WooCommerce store on the website to a new object and HubSpot. You’re defining the trigger points and required fields for this and starting the implementation.
2:30 p.m.
Lunch break
3:00 p.m.
Review of a new tool:
To get spam rates under control when sending emails, you’ve been looking into a verification tool, which you’ll present to the team in a casual setting. Once your colleagues are on board, you’ll schedule a meeting with a developer from the front-end team to implement the new verification system.
3:40 p.m.
Creating an internal tool:
Since you’re still waiting for feedback before continuing work on the Woo-HubSpot migration, you’re turning your attention to a new tool. The goal is to create an easy-to-maintain directory of all government agencies relevant to us, which can be accessed via an API.
4:00 p.m.
Tool Design:
The first step is to document all the requirements the tool must meet. What features does it need to include? What capabilities must it have? Who will use it? You’ll also use AI to ask questions and generate ideas.
5:00 p.m.
End of the workday

What we use

This is our current setup. Things might look quite different in three months—because we don’t believe in “that’s how we’ve always done it.”

  • Docker Desktop
  • HubSpot Enterprise
  • WordPress
  • Cloud-based and on-premises N8N and Supabase instances
  • Claude Code, ChatGPT Pro, Gemini Pro
  • VS Code (Roo Code)
  • GitHub
  • 15,000 website visits per day
  • 6,500 blog and news page views per day
  • Approximately 750 leads per day

That goes without saying for us.

Pet-Friendly Office
Dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots—anything is possible. Just coordinate with your team.
Work-life balance
You decide when and how you work. Nine-to-five is a thing of the past. With us, nothing is set in stone.
Budget for everything you need
New tools, a better chair, or cool (useful) extras? Just let us know what you need!
Further education & training
Want to learn new skills or move to a different department? With training, courses, and everything else that helps you get ahead.
Take a spontaneous vacation? You can!
With us, you can plan days off at short notice without weeks of coordination.
Complimentary beverages at any time
We offer complimentary coffee, tea, and soft drinks on every floor. What, not everyone does that?

It never gets boring
I appreciate the trust that my bosses place in me. I particularly like the collegial atmosphere and the variety of tasks in accounting. It's definitely never boring, and I'm more than happy to have been part of the team for almost a year now. Best decision ever!
Denise

The nice little perks of everyday life
Open communication on an equal footing throughout the company and, of course, the nice little benefits in everyday working life, such as employee events, a feel-good manager, and free drinks. Employees should feel comfortable—it's a win-win situation!
Tim

Exciting challenges
I work at Migrando because every day is full of exciting challenges and this team doesn't make me feel like I'm past my prime.

Lots of training opportunities, real career advancement opportunities, flexible working hours, working from home, and a really cool team. A modern employer that fully supports me both professionally and privately!
Manuel

Questions? We have answers.

Do I need to have a cover letter?

No—a traditional cover letter is not a requirement for us. Your application does not need to follow any formal structure. You simply need to convince us. We would appreciate a friendly email in which you briefly introduce yourself. We are interested in who you are and why you would like to become part of our team.

How does the application process work?

Quick and easy. After you apply, we will review your documents and usually get back to you within a day. This is followed by a short introductory interview—preferably in person, otherwise via video. We will make a decision within a week at the latest.

What will my first day be like?

No pressure. We deliberately take a lot of time to train you—no one is thrown in at the deep end here. Depending on your position, you will receive a short or more extensive crash course in the legal background that we encounter on a daily basis. Along the way, you will not only get to know your own team, but also all the other teams, gain insight into our processes, systems, and tools—and gradually grow into your role.

How often do I have to be in the office?

We enjoy being in the office because teamwork simply works better when we can see each other. Nevertheless, we understand that flexibility is important. That's why you're welcome to work from home—just discuss it with your team first.

Is the position temporary?

Our goal is to work together long-term and grow together. That's why we strive to offer permanent contracts. Our hiring process is not a mass production line. We discuss the contract individually with each applicant—including the probationary period and fixed-term contracts.

Is there a probationary period?

We are completely transparent: we usually set a probationary period, which is usually 3 to 6 months. Experience shows that this benefits both sides. But don't worry—we don't enjoy letting colleagues go either. Before it comes to that, there will be several feedback meetings where everything can be discussed.

What does my team look like?

You can already meet some of our team on our team page!

Where is the office?

Our office is located in Cottbus, right in the center, on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße. You can find out more about the location here.

How much vacation time do I get?

Everyone at our company gets 25 days of annual leave. However, this depends on your weekly working hours.

Can I also submit an unsolicited application?

Absolutely! We welcome people who show initiative. If you think your strengths would be a good fit for us, but there are no suitable positions advertised at the moment, please get in touch anyway. We are always open to good ideas—and good people.

Just send us an email at karriere@migrando.de.

How big is the team?

We now have over 80 colleagues—a diverse mix of people from a wide variety of fields, with different personalities and backgrounds. Despite our growth, our team spirit remains informal. We still know each other by our first names (or nicknames).

Do you have a dress code?

Just one: Clothes would be nice. Otherwise, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Whether sneakers and jeans or a shirt and blazer. And don't worry—you don't have to wear the Migrando sweater. But you will get one!

Can I bring my dog?

That is entirely possible. In general, a lot is possible with us. As long as your work performance and office environment do not suffer, you can do almost anything with us. Just talk to your team leader about it.

Can't find what you're looking for? Just send an email to karriere@migrando.de and we'll be happy to help you at any time.

Say hello!

Doubts? Don't worry!

Gaps in your resume? We don't care!

You don't meet 100% of the requirements? No problem!

Career changer? Great!
